Re: OFFICIAL: Q&A for DACA forms Part 2
Hey guys!
Someone advised me to use this thread. I have some questions. 1. How did you print out your applications and documents? Did you print them out in color? Do picture documents have to be in color? What documents should be in color? Are we supposed to use certain types of printing materials? Can we just use plain papers and regular inks? 2. Using family members bills and tax reports. I have been residing with my father for a long time now. Since I had nothing but an expired passport, it was hard for me to get an apartment, or even sign up for utility bills on my own. Also, my father has been reporting tax return along with my name on it until now, can I use these copies of my father's tax reports as a proof of residence? I also have the apartment lease contract with my father and my own name on it, and can I claim that I have been residing with my father and send the copies of the utility bills under my father's as a proof of residence? 3.School Records I have my Middle School Graduate Certificate, GED Certification, High School Diploma Certificate from the community high school I attended to take the GED, a few grades reports from the community college I attended a few years ago. Would these be enough to send or should I actually get the school transcripts from all the schools I attended? As for my high school years, I got dropped out of my high school due to the horrendous amount absences I took. Should I still provide any school records from my high school? |

1. I did both color and black/white. It's up to you, as long as it's legible.
http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/usc...000ecd190aRCRD 2. No idea. I suppose you can use your father's tax returns if he claimed you as a dependent. 3. Probably a good idea to get transcripts, but they don't have to be official. |

is how it was done for me. 1)She printed everything on a regular printer with regular ink and in black and white. She made just everything was printed to 100% meaning almost identical to the original. Things that have pictures like all of my school IDs were printed in black and white as well, and yes regular office depot paper. 2) As proof of residence I honestly don't remember what we sent so I'm not going to say anything cause I am not sure. 3) As far as the school stuff, gather everything that shows you were a good student such as certificates, student of the month things awards, and send those in as well in your folder. You need to gather your transcripts from Elementary school, middle school, high school, and college. Now for me it had been such a long time that I had to get them from the district. I was able to just get the OFFICIAL transcripts from my high school and college. ALL of your transcripts must be OFFICIAL, meaning that they are in a SEALED envelope. So pretty much your transcripts prove that you were here during fall and etc, but you have to also prove that you were here during the summer. So try to find schedules, church certificates (first communion, retreats, etc) anything that says you were also here during summer. My lawyer said that was pretty important but of coarse that was just her opinion. Oh and I also provided verification that I was enrolled in College and in classes. Which I printed from my school's student website. I hope this helps! |

I have a question about the school transcripts. I have an old STUDENT COPY of my high school transcripts that I received nearly 9 years ago. I also my FULLY SEALED transcript from the community high school that I attended for GED which I received nearly 6 years ago. Do you think both of these transcripts would be valid? or should I just get a new copy? |

I have a quick question. Should I include my SSN and my Alien Number in the forms? They're both legit but I've seen some contradicting stuff here regarding whether or not I should include them. Thanks
