Did it worry u that it took so long for them to approve u, that's at least 3weeks when most people got approved after sending their rfe in 2 to 5 days. I'm concerned cause I'm reaching the 2nd week and still no approval

hey everyone,

so i finally got my RFE. all my siblings are holding EAD right now and i'm stuck with this RFE. even though we all had gaps in our evidence but we still provided something from each year. that being said...

my RFE states this...

CONTINUOUS RESIDENCE:
the evidence you submitted with your i821 to establish that you have continuously resided in the usa during 5 year period immediately before june 15, 2012 and up to time of filing is insufficient. please submit evidence of your continuous residence for the years of 2007, 2008, 2009.

the only thing comes to mind is dental records for those 3 years. please correct me if i'm wrong but they only need evidence for these 3 years right? nothing else beside the fact? i just want to make sure i'm not missing out on anything.

I sent a bunch of honor roll certificates and other school awards as my proof of continuous residence. Is this good enough? I know it's so late to ask.

I have a gap from june to december for 2010, I only have one thing for august and one for november. They also wanted evidence for 2011 and im sending credit card statements for each month for 2011. would that be enough for 2010?

let me walk you thru it my muslim sister, first of all dont panic when u get ur RFE letter, obviously u did already so from my experience to RFE i thought my life was over and i will never come up with the evidences that they asked for, mind u that i got 2 RFE's, the first one was con't presence from 2009 to 2012, and the second one presence in the usa in june 15, 2012. so i was faced with 1000 dilemmas, which turned out to be all right at the end, so i started collecting paper works, in my case i did not submit any proof of continiouns presence in the original evidence, so i went crazy once i got my RFE, i have collected over 60 paper work as proof and evidence for my con't, so this time the case worker is gonna go crazy because at first i thought like i dont want to stress out the caseworker but this time game on, so just send them any possible document that u could find from emails wired internet payment which i have plenty of those from my gym membership to my clear internet wired payments month my month statments, western unions receipts dated back in 2010, my ITIN, and even my facebook checkins and friend tags with a picture and date.

Question what kind of misdemeanor did you have? I got arrested for DUI 0.8% which was boarder line so they didn't charge me with DUI i got "dry reckless driving" in California

I got Ref. for con't evidence from 2007 to June 15th 2012 and court certificate record for my charges is this gone be problem for me?

anyone in same situation and got approved please do reply ;o)

oh and i paid the fine on time did the six week AA classes and my probation and case was closed on feb. 2012 with only one charge "dry reckless charged"

So finally I got my RFE notice was on the 30 received on the 3rd .you submitted a secondary school record that shows a tentative graduation date however, you did not submit a copy of your high school diploma or any evidence that you are currently enrolled in school or that you completed an alternative education program . You may still submit evidence, which may include , but not limited to copies of a diploma , transcripts showing date of graduation .
And my question is I send them the ACT and it shows I was enrolled in school so if I send my high school diploma will be enough which I didn't send it and my other question is Iam going to change my address Tom so I have to fill another form on line of change of address on uscis web site is it gonna effect my from receiving my EAD .

Wasn't a DUI something very minor. Underage drinking basically. But yeah I haven't received it yet I have no idea what They could want cuz I sent in every thing.

Why didn't you send your hs diploma??? GO SEND IT!

The RFE letter has a little box that's for you to put your new address if you're changing it.

RFE sent today to be delivered election day at noon

Cover letter explaning my situaation and evidence i have.

For 2007 affidavit from a friend and letter from my church and amazon invoice. i also had my playstation transaction history with a couple of other receipt that correlate with my bank statement.

2008-2011 college transcript 2 bank statement for each year amazon receipt college acceptance letter. vaccine record.

from ending of 2011 to june 15 2012 i have bank statement for each month

Hopefully they approve me if they don't, then i don't know what else they want from me. I hope Obama wins and pass immigration reform :/

Hi, still gathering some evidences for RFE, can we respond with a letter of explanation, like I sent all pages of my passport just to show them that I never left the country, I don't know if they know that already and just need MORE evidence besides that or they just disregarded the empty pages of my passport that I sent.

Ok, cause I sent it with my application and received RFE now I'm in the process of gathering some more evidences but your saying I can include a cover letter explaining all of my evidences? Or should I write little notes on each page of my evidences...probably a cover letter would look more professional.

Just do a cover letter and then write a letter explaining why you are sending each and every thing and how it certifies what they are asking for. Keep it straightforward and simple and you will be fine. Good luck.

hey everyone,

so i got an RFE for 3 years.
2007.2008.2009.

for 2008 and 2009 i've dental records for each month which covers 2 years COMPLETELY (i was having procedure done)

but the dilemma lies in 2007. for 2007 i have 1 medical record and 1 dental record. THAT'S it. will that be sufficient???
