Can you give me advice how to do that. I am enrolled and paying instate tuition. But paying 500 is much better for me. Thanks

I wish, then i'll be able to start college. The community college in my area, Daytona Beach, asked for $8,000 a SEMESTER! I don't think anybody is paying that much a semester! It's insane how they expecting us to pay so much without us even being able to work in regualr jobs like everyone ekse.

Yeah, I thought I read that somewhere.
I was thinking of moving to Miami because of this. I figured If I could save thousands a year on tuition- I could pay off my tuition and all utilities and still have money left over.
Paying $ 8,000 a semester is high, that's why so many can only afford to take a few classes every semester- and end up graduating in twice the time a regular instate student would.
I really wish FL was more like CA; where being a dreamer is not an obstacle to complete a higher education.

I just searched there tuition rate, it's at $2,324- for instate!
Too bad I live 4 hours away, otherwise I'd apply immediately.

Thanks for your input!

And I thought I read somewhere that now Florida grants in-state tuition for kids whom their parents are illegal. But I think only to those kids who were born here. It's one step at a time, soon enough in-state tuition for Dreamers will be granted in:p Florida as well I believe.

the 2 Florida Universities I know of are: FAU (Florida Atlantic University) and FIU (Florida International University). They give in-state tuition to those who have been granted deferred action.

Is this for real? Is it really happening?! Oh hell I'm so overwhelmed with emotions right now! I can't wait to move down to Miami and start college already!

Did anybody confirm this information?

FAU, FIU, and UF provide in-state tuition the recipients of DACA. So does Broward College. I know personally that Broward College, FAU, and UF need you to provide evidence of being legally present in the state for at least a year. (Legal for us is DACA)
