Hi guys I just got a text today saying they they will be issuing me a RFE. I'm a little worried and anxious. So I have a few questions.
Has anyone sent an affidavit AS the response for the rfe and gotten approved?
Also anyone else sent in their response to their RFE and is still waiting for an approval?

I sent affidavits with the evidence that I gather and I was approved after rfe. If you do use Affidavits, send atleast 2, according to USCIS guidelines. I also got mines notarized.

Yes that's good but with evidences you have to know it doesn't matter how many u have but how well they establish a timeline for your continuous presence. So make sure that it covers the entire year with maximum 2-3 month gaps. You can also provide affidavits to support continuous presence for times you can't find evidences for.

Hey what do you get in the mail when you're approved? Do you get the ead card and deferred action approval in one envelope? Different envelopes? Do you get a letter with the card saying you've been approved for this ead?

You get the EAD, a letter for the i765 and a letter for the i821 all in separate envelopes.

Hello everyone, after 9 days of no power thanks to Sandy, I can finally take care of my RFE. For some weird reason, they sent the request to my lawyer but I never got it at my place. I'm guessing the hurricane complicated some stuff. It reads:

"Specifically, you submitted evidence for the years 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2012. However, you did not provide evidence for the years 2009 or 2011"

Here are the things I'm submitting,
1.) My doctor's notes when I had routine check ups and physical done
2.) Bank statements
3.)Credit card statements from two different financial institutions
3.) email confirmation for the registration and donations to the 5k races I did

Questions:
1.) Are these enough?
2.) I have 2 pictures from the 5k races I did. Should I have them developed and send them?
3.) How do I make an affidavit and who would be considered legit to sign them? i.e. will a girlfriend count? will the relative I've been staying with for 5+ years count?

Make sure you have something for every year! Don't forget to write a letter explaining how each evidence certifies each years requirement, send them everything you got! And you should be fine.
Doctors visits, credit cards statements and bank statements for those 2 years are golden.
Sending them pics, emails, and affidavits signed by gf or relatives wouldn't hurt. Good luck.

What do you mean by every year? From the phrase I quoted, I'm only suppose to submit evidence for the year 2009 and 2011, right? I don't know if that's what you meant or, are you telling me to submit evidence for 2007 all the way through 2012.

I have a question I got RFE on 11-03-12 lack of evidence of Con't from 2007 to june 15th 2012 . So my question is did you guys sent evidence jan, feb, march to Dec. for each year or just few months for each year?

Just send evidence for every year, it doesn't have to cover every month for every year. Make sure you right a letter explaining how each evidence satisfies every year. Just send everything you got!. Good luck!

i applied for social security number on tuesday right after i got my EAD i went down there waited for 10 minutes than i got called in, the guy was very friendly, asked me a few question and entered my information and than gave me a receipt and told me to wait 10-15 days in the mail, i asked him for a print out, he said well you are in the system and there is a number available for you so the actual card will come in the mail 10-15days, once i heard that i got excited and just ignored telling him to give me the the print out number and left on my way, plus i didnt wait 10 days to go apply, i mean i went the next following day.

i received my RFE october19th and sent it back october 23th, and they received it october 25th, and than 6 days later on wednesday, october 31st at 5 pm got an update text and went online and checked i was approved.

My RFE wants evidence for 2010.
I have an email from my church scheduling me to help out on specific sundays during that year...I have evidence for a lot of months except maybe 2.
Does anyone have any input on if i should use these emails?

You don't have to send them evidence for each month. You can send a print-out of that email but also get an affidavit from your church backing that up.
