Hey I read something on page 1 about Maryland considering the dream act what is that about? can some plz elaborate

I posted something about Maryland giving in-state tuition to the high school graduates of the state. If you are asking about Maryland granting the dream act then you are dreaming lol. That can only be done at the federal level. However there's a bill called Maryland's dream act which is aimed at providing in state tuition for ALL illegals living in the state of MD. They will vote on it this coming November.

To qualify for in-state tution i had to show them proof of residence in new jersey (driver's licence or utility bill with my name on it). when i calle utility company they asked me for ss# but since i don't have it, i asked the young lady "if she can just add my name on the bill for now and i will call back another time to give my ss# cause i don't remember it." The lady said ok. i never called back. the bill came with my name on it and it's still that way.

MD does not give in-state tuition. MD DA will go on vote in November.

No, I wish! I'm from Florida as well.
However, if you get your EAD through DACA, then some colleges in FL allow you to have in-state tuition. I heard that FSU and FIU allow in-state tuition to deferred action applicants.
Best of luck hun!
