Hi Everyone,

Im new here and have decided to share my journey. It seems that my waiting game has just gotten longer.

Recieved email/text on Tuesday letting me kmow my case need more evidence.. According to the website an RFE was mailed to me on the 20th.

Heres a bit on the History

Sent: 11/15
Recieved by: 11/19
I-797 C Notice: 11/23
Bio Notice: 11/23
Bio Scheduled: 12/20 - Done 12/12 Walk In
Rfe Email/Text: 2/20

Havent recieved my mailed letter yet.. Ill keep you guys posted.. Thanks and Good Luck to all

I was finally APPROVED yesterday! Exactly 6 months after they received my initial petition. This has been a long and stressful process for me but I couldn't be happier! I have to say that persistence is what paid off in the end. They received my reply to the Request for Evidence on October 10th and then 60 days passed and I really started to worry. I tried Service Requests (Tier #2 customer service would put in Service Requests for the i-765, only thing they could do at the time, and it got me nowhere. I also emailed the followup email address for the Vermont Service Center. Each time it took about 2 weeks to hear back from the officer but I finally was in contact with an Officer. Then I contacted my Senator's office and asked for help. His officer contacted the Vermont Service Center and they told me I would hear back with 30 days. 30 calendar days passed and still nothing. Then yesterday I got an email from the Officer saying that I had been approved! I immediately checked my status online and it was all there. Now I'm waiting for my employment card to be delivered. :)

For a while I thought I was waiting for a long time until I checked this forum again.

Service Center: (Nebraska)
Biometric Done: (09/27/12)
RFE Notice Date: (11/28/12)
RFE Sent Date: (12/09/12)
RFE Delivered: (12/11/12)

Damn. That's a long wait.

If I were you I would have done a Service Request already. On the case status it says that you should receive a response within 60 days.
