Hey Everyone,

So i recieved my RFE in the mail today.. I guess i need more evidence to support my continuously stay in the US from 07 to 12.. Also something that proves I was present on June 15, 2012..

I originaly submitted copies of bills and letters of achivements from work..

I have copies of paystubs, W2s, and incomed taxes filled all the way back till 2005 but i was told it was not a good idea to submit this items because it was posssible that my work permit would be denied.. Has anyone else heard about this?? Should I send copies of all my income taxes and paystubs?? What else would be good concrete evidence that you guys would advised

If I were you I would have done a Service Request already. On the case status it says that you should receive a response within 60 days.

USCIS doesn't take service requests seriously

I've done Service Requests before, and they have been successful.

How does USCIS not take them seriously. Who here has done a Service Request and was ignored? The people who were doing them at 3 months don't count because they were doing the Service Request for the I-765.

Anecdotal fallacy

My service request was answered a week after I called them.

An anecdotal is using personal experience and ignoring the statistics.

Why don't you show me the statistics backing up your claim that you pulled out of....nowhere.

If you had posted actual instances where USCIS ignored Service Requests, and I had said that I made a Service Request and it worked, that would be an anecdotal. Learn what the word means before you use it.

If you fail to show the statistics, what you said is in fact an anecdotal considering the fact that many people have done Service Requests and have been answered.

"The expression anecdotal evidence refers to evidence from anecdotes. Because of the small sample, there is a larger chance that it may be unreliable due to cherry-picked or otherwise non-representative samples of typical cases.[1][2] Anecdotal evidence is considered dubious support of a claim; it is accepted only in lieu of more solid evidence. This is true regardless of the veracity of individual claims."

^ this is the correct definition of what is anecdotal. Not the one you pulled out of nowhere. And you used an anecdotal evidence. Burden of proof is on you.

You still fail to prove your statement that USCIS doesn't take Service Requests seriously.

Prime example of anecdotal.
