Yea isn't this so great guys?? We can pass CIR and DA at the same time!! ... If this prediction fails again, will you not make another nonsense prediction ever again..? and you call yourself a realist.. and when does the lame duck session start? this again shows you have no idea what youre talking about.. you should know that it starts after elections whenever congress is rescheduled to reconvene. there is no set date.

We were just 8 short in 2007 and recently just 4. So we are getting closer to passage. I could have figured out when the LD session was by Googling.

I just wanted to know the exact date.

wow really? where did you hear that? if i had to bet, i would have said nelson is more likely to say no than pryor but its close. my reasoning is because nebraska was debating about that illegal immigration issue and i think a town there voted to not to rent houses to illegals or something like that and nelson would have been pressured to vote no on anything "amnesty"

These posts are getting out of control, DA User. You can't play fast and loose with those numbers. We were not "4 short" of the DREAM Act last time around; we were 4 short of defense authorization. They are not the same thing! You know what happens when irresponsible predictions are thrown around? Some people -- although I can't fathom why -- will still take your predictions seriously. That will lead to complacency, which we can't have.

On another note, there is no sense in trying to predict who is going to vote what as if this is a game. Instead, just focus on calling, faxing and e-mailing those on the fence. But it seems like this board only mobilizes when a date for the vote is set. That's not the way to win DREAM.

If you've been here as long as some of us have, then you won't relent and just sit back and wait for the news to come.
