This seems like a desperate attempt. Its not going anywhere. Why don't Dems take this opportunity to attach some of their bills like Dream Act and AgJobs???

This won't pass the senate. Senate Democrats want comprehensive immigration reform--not legislation from the right aimed at fixing some parts of the current system.

2face, I think Reid will try to attach at least the DREAM Act once this proposal/s reach the senate.

I'm really hoping this will happen. It is a good compromise I think.

For us, it is a good compromise. If a compromise could be reached, such a bill would consist of E-Verify, the Legal Workforce Act (which is KIND OF LIKE the Agjobs bill), and the DA.

My only concern would be our other undocumented brothers and sisters. I know people who do not qualify under the DA but have been here for a long time, showing good moral character and working hard.
