HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I love the idea. It says infinite indentured servitude. Lets face it America doesn't want DREAMERS it wants cheap labor, it wants the world to treat people better but the people within its own borders its blind to (Great country, racist society). We are the biggest threat to any U.S. Jobs bill now and forever.

Newt i know you and the GOP must have trolls in our forums, your the smartest man of the dumbest breed right behind vermin. Btw GOP trolls you guys tried slavery once and all you did was build a race your deathly afraid of, why do you want to do that again, I mean with a black president most of you have adopted a kamikaze philosophy towards America what are you going to do with an ethnic president?

I knew that all of you would see the light on this stupid idea. I thought to myself: Mhhzzz, maybe I might be the only one who disapproves of it.

Did all of you also notice that Newt said that the part he liked about the DREAM Act was the military service option? So, the implication was that he disliked the education option of the bill. Again, these bastards just want to use us. "Let's remove our native-born citizens from the dangerous frontlines and deploy these ambitious, foreign-boreign soldiers to the combat zones--that way it won't matter if the casualties are high because these people aren't authentic Americans."

F U Newt.

So, if given the choice between this and ten more years of absolutely nothing, you guys would vote for nothing correct

Yeah, pretty much...

I don't even see how this will benefit those that are out of status in this country. It seems from the video that it would apply for those that are outside of the country for the very low skilled, low pay, low benefit and high intensity jobs. So... basically a longer term guest worker program or H1B program for very low skilled jobs and creating second class citizens that can be kicked out of the country once they become unemployed.

But that is my interpretation, I have not looked into this stuff too closely, I do not consider Newt or this plan to be a very serious contender or path.

I second this post.

How is a baby born here to illegal parent(s) different from a baby born to a legal immigrants? 14th Amendment?
I still like the Red Card because something is better then nothing.

Ok, I agree. A Red Card is better than a Romney or a Bachman, but the plan pisses me off.

Obama would bury Newt in a debate.

On the positive side, its still better then nothing though.

I think the Dream Act will pass before CIR and/or any other plan.

Also, Obama will win again.

HAHA Red Card will not apply to us currently here. They have to ensure not to steal AMERICAN jobs so only super low skilled workers will be granted a red card. Low skill=Best Buy sales rep. Super low skill=cotton pickers (no offense just paints the right picture of the GOP mentality). They will tryn turn our own people against us, a true Trojan Horse and the strongest play congress will ever have to making immigrants leave on their own volition.

Fuck the Red Card if that's my only option.

It may be "better than nothing" but it is a mediocre idea that would put us in an endless loop of inferiority and second class citizenship, when we are worth much more considering our skill levels and brainpower.

If we fall for the first mediocre offer that politicians (who change their minds very frequently), throw out there just because "it's something," then we'll always fall short in life, and that's truly a shame.
