So I did take a course back in high school many many years ago. I was able to get the certification that I was supposed to take to the DMV. Over the years I've lost that certificate since I figured I would never get to use it (I needed a SSN to get my permit) so I'm wondering if the school keeps record of who takes Drivers Ed. I'd rather go in and take the exam than have to pay for a course.

^More than likely that certificate is no longer (unless it was a few months ago) even if you found it.

If they didn't require something from the DMV every DREAMER would claim to the Police to be in an 'Indefinite Training Period'. LOL

It's almost common sense to be allowed to drive in the public right of way the DMV has to grant you permission.

Nevermind, I read that since I'm over the age of 18 I'm not required to take a course for a Learner's Permit. However, I would much rather have a DL since I need it to get to work. Hopefully I can get a LP and switch over the DL within a week or so.

I still have it. It was like 8 years ago. I am sure it doesn't mean anything now lol
