it is required to send 2 pictures with I-765.. and yes they do take pictures at the biometrics

The instructions clearly say "ALL applications" and under that, it lists the 2 photos. You STILL need to send in two photos because it goes under those instructions. Please, stop spreading misconceptions. Whatever they want to use it for, it clearly states that the 2 photos are required. Where it says "those applying under (c)(33) need only submit documents regarding Question 3 on the I-821d" means ONLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION. This means, that due to the instructions on I-821d, and because we already are submitting identifying documents with that form, we need not double up on the copies or send more identifying documents (ie., passport, ids, etc.) That phrase is listed under the same section (Required Docs - Section 2B) because it's referring to extra id. info.

With that said, for those who forgot to include photos, you will most likely get a Request for Evidence to send in those missing photos.

I think it's worth the $10 just to be sure. Last thing everyone wants is for their application to be backlogged an extra month just because you didn't include the pictures.

maybe they want passport pictures for them and they take biometric pictures for the pic that goes on the EAD. just follow the instructions. They are called "instructions" for a reason. I also dont get why people keep repeating this with multiple threads...smh

Probably because they sent their packets without them and they are trying to justify the action after realizing that they might have fucked up. I see no other reason.
