Your right about that... there are about to lose the west for generations to come (New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada) the new democratic strong holds.

Such as California was a Republican STRONGHOLD, then fmr Gov. Pete Wilson came along and you know the story..

My point is on down the ballot democrats, such as Senators and Congressman , who are more likely to oppose the Dream Act . And now in this point in time the GOP is on the extreme right..

EXAMPLE: Sen. Dick Lugar got defeated in part because of his support of Obama and dream act.

So I hope you know what I mean..

All this support shown is very nice and good, but it needs to turn into legislation. Gotta get some immigrant friendly candidates back in Congress. The Repubs will not compromise and these new Tea Party types will vote against Obama even if it benefits the country as a whole.

As things start to unfold in the next four years, Texas is projected to become a swing state because of the growing Hispanic community. There just isn't enough angry old people anymore to put Republicans in the White House.

Dude,

I have to say that I am officially at the point where Republicans just scare the living crap out of me. I watched the GOP convention, and it seemed liked satan was there. There was just this awkward, horrific feeling about the people who were there. Everyone seemed so cynical. Even Eastwood came across as a little douche bag.

I've gotta say, it feels good to actually be supported by powerful people...even if DACA doesn't apply to me. Much better than suffering in silence for years and years without people knowing we exist....
