That just make anti-immigrant hate us more, they always see us as rule breaker and that just proved them right.

Some people ( i am not sure if they were dreamers) interrupted the hearing chanting something no one could understand. Very stupid, pointless and disrespectful.

civil disobedience is what has made the DREAM act relevant and DACA happen .. so what these DREAMers did was great .. and all of you who just watch from the sidelines is what is bad.

That was just bad timing. The protest and march are what make the Dream Act possible, but that was just bad timing. My initials thought was anti-immigrant protest break into the building.

Yeah, do you think doing that really made dreamers look like the type of people who would follow the rules? There is a time and place for civil disobidience and when both sides of the isle and sitting down and trying to figure out a way to fix your problem then that is the wrong time for civil disobedience.
I'd like to believe that dreamers are relevant because they are smart, they follow the rules and came to this country through no decision of their own. Not because they are loud and interrupt dialogue.

To a certain extent, you are right.....but the real underlying cause for these hearings is the Hispanic voter turnout. Reps are not intimidated by civil disobedience or marches; they are, however, influenced by votes.

These dreamers are obviously too young to understand that our IMAGE can make or brake the Dream Act. We had people like Castro who support us, why in the blue hell would anyone interrupt a hearing that is aimed at doing something about our situation?

Not cool.

I will agree with you that it might give a negative perception to an anti-immigrant individual, but honestly are we trying to gain their favor?

However,I get the impression Luiz Gutierrez knew about it lol.The timing just seemed too perfect.I think we're going to be seeing and hearing a lot of things we don't like over the extended period that House Republicans want to play this out and honestly I think that disruption might be only the beginning.

Well, we will never get support from them, but we don't want to give them anything to use against us.
