From what I have read, there is a very little chance it will be good.
I know the top contenders are the following in that order:
1. Kobach , The devil in human disguise
2. Clarke , Milwaukee racist black Sheriff
3. Mike McCaul, R-Texas
I think the likelihood of nomination for each are 50% - 40% - 10% respectively.

I think Kobach ruined his chances when he had his plans clearly visible for the cameras. It made him seem amateurish and unprofessional. We already have that in Trump. I'm putting my money on an establishment Republican which is likely the cause of the delayed announcement.

That is a somewhat valid point, although I am skeptical that Pence would in anyway advocate for something that would benefit illegal immigrants as it is being portrayed in the article.
This was my point
No need to disagree to disagree on this. I certainly hope Ann Coulter can go back to hiding from wherever she came from. She is as delusional as the people who think she is attractive. Yikes

My concern with regard to Pence is that he has proposed a "Touchback Policy" in the past. We're going to need the Dems to stand firmly against that.
The "touchback" policy seemingly floated by the GOP ticket this week could mimic the very proposal Pence laid out in 2006 while serving in Congress. Then-Congressman Pence proposed in a speech to the Heritage Foundation that the U.S. require all undocumented immigrants to return to their native countries but then work through a new guest-worker program to return — within as quickly as a week — to their place of employment. The only way this is realistic is for us to apply for a guest worker visa and have all documentation allowing us to return PRIOR to leaving the country. Because, we've seen how FBI Background checks hold people when applying for DACA. The last thing you'd want is to be stuck in your home country for 18 months while you're waiting to be let back in via the guest worker program.
