Enlist act is only immigration relief measure with bi partisan support right now. Overwhelming support. Anything more will be deemed as amnesty.

In the House it has bipartisan support. There isn't a Senate version so it is difficult to know the support there. Even if all Republicans voted for ENLIST Act (doubtful), they'd still eight Democrats to vote for it. I'm not convinced the votes are there, but we'll see.

Many democrats will be against it because it's narrow in who it benefits, and it's 'forcing' undocumented people to join the military to obtain citizenship.

it ain't forcing anything, but legislation is all about perception. for democrats it looks that way.

im all for ENLIST ACT to pass for some who want to go that route but it doesnt even have a Senate counterpart.

they should just merge all possible routes to one bill like The RACA or the Bridge Act that covers more people that both houses can agree to.

so what if some undocumented people can't pass MEPS because of a physical or medical problem but want to join the military for citizenship? I don't think that would be fair.
