Yea I removed the edit that I posted in the news section by mistake since I had two tabs open. Thanks.

My entire life I have never heard of anything Dream Act or DACA related on major news outlets in my town as much as I have heard it in the last two days. Especially with the tremendous support it has gotten. There is absolutely no way in hell that after all this, the issue will result in anything unfavorable for us. The only reason I say this is because legislation is now imminent based upon the pressure Congress has from the President and the American Public and media. This is the home stretch. I have never felt more confident about this issue than I do now.

We're good guys. Do you really think after all this support from the entire country, that we will be kicked out/sent back to the shadows? When was the last time you checked facebook or turned the news on and heard from a random person talking about they support Dreamers?

One thing I don't get though, why were the Dreamers waving Mexican flags at a DACA rally and chanting in another language (Mainly Spanish)? Isn't that contradicting the idea that you are an American by every means except for paperwork? You want to be recognized as American yet you are waving the flag of another country? If you want to appeal to the American public, please be patriotic towards that country.

Another thing, out of the 800k dreamers, I was reading somewhere about 5% are business owners, 12% are home owners and I'm speculating at least a good 30% have car loans. Can you imagine the hit the economy takes? even if Congress opposes any blanket amnesty, they are not going to take that financial hit if Dreamers simply lose their jobs and stop paying obligations no matter what happens. So regardless of what the situation is and regardless of how much Representatives and Senators dislike the fact that we're here, they love MONEY even more. They won't lose money. They can't afford to let us go and hurt the economy like that.

True. DACA had to end. It was a temporary patch. Now unto the permanent remedy... Dream Act!

Honestly speaking we should see the good in everything. Negativity only impacts our health in the end. I see a lot of good things on the horizon for the dreamers.

I agree with you. The end of DACA was bound to happen eventually. I honestly thought it was going to end 2 years ago. A chance at a permanent solution is better than living on a 2 years plan all our lives.

We have the most support ever. We have support from the majority of the population, from most politicians, from universities, from companies, from media... you name it. The only people that are against us are the far right groups. Why should they be the deciding voice?
