Why? Don’t tell me it’s finances cuz there were plenty organizations offering to pay filing fees.

I kinda hope it’s does cover only DACA (plus aged out dreamers). People who don’t appreciate the benefits of DACA will be the ones who are dependent on the system and give us all a bad name. Why you wouldn’t apply for the last 5 years is beyond me.

why do you have such a hard on for the Raise Act? its obviously a non-starter for any negotiations.

it's a good starting point for further CIR down the road.

2013-2014 my family fell victim to a scam which gave me false hopes of fixing my situation.

2014-2015 I went to a free organization that never told me I could use social media posts to justify that I was here continuously, Also was missing evidence that I was in the country the day Obama announced Deferred Action.

I sort of just gave up until I ran into a lawyer friend of mine who gave me hope so I started gathering up things again but I started receiving word of Trumps decision to end DACA.

Ill admit its all fault for not pushing harder. I was in such a difficult place, legalization was the last of my worries.

I don't have any run in with the law either.

Then why would it be included now? Raise Act is DOA.

Sorry to hear that but there were plenty threads on here telling people how to file. It is unfortunate that you were not able to take advantage of such a wonderful opportunity.

DACA has literally changed my life.

So, couldn't meet with Durbin a few days ago but did meet with his Legislative Director for Immigration. Of course, they support us but one thing they explicitly said was no budget deal without a solution for us. DACA/DA was his priority.

Man that's good to hear. They're really determined to fight for us. I'm hopeful
