Funding might be extended till the 22 of this month.. So they can avoid a shutdown while they work on the things that they have to get done DA,CHIP And so on.

(In my understanding to what I have read on articles) and according to libertarian too

I rather have it on Dec 8. I buy another property that day and it would be a double celebration.

They might squeak by since they can pass a CR with 50+VP in the Senate. House is really the bigger unknown.

Anyways this just buys them 2 weeks and make things really desperate down the line. This won't increase the debt ceiling, instead treasury will pretend all is well and fully fund the government until then.

Now remember how they mentioned that they can roll the government forward all the way to March? That's during a shutdown while Treasury is doing all the fuckery it can to keep things from going completely tits up.

So they will trade 2 months of everything being open for basically all the safety net they have. They pass that, and if there's no budget on the 22nd, expect a default in January, not March.
