If Trump is willing to sign "anything" that comes to his table, as he suggested today, Democrats and GOP may be able to find a compromise.

What Dem/GOP is probably looking at at this point:

DREAM Act OR RAC Act

in exchange for

$2 to 18 b. border security (Probably on the lower end of this scale; Not a physical wall, but technological/physical enhancement of the border)

End to diversity visa and allocating that 50k quota to TPS

No "chain migration" for those getting legalized by retaining the "10 year ban" for those who have stayed illegally for 1+ year (Which effectively bans those getting legalized from sponsoring their parents if they had stayed in the U.S. illegally) OR no "chain migration" until those getting legalized receive their citizenship.

AND

A potential provision from the Flake's bill that makes memberships in a gang inadmissible for U.S. entry/legalization.

A potential provision expanding E-Verify.

he may want a wall, but i believe he conceded that today. he said its up to congress on whats gonna be in it.
