It could be a power play to hold McConnell and the Repubs to their word to help pass the Dreamer bill come Feb 8th...and then shutdown if the Repubs back off.

But I'm not confident that the Dems will follow through.

Yesterday CNN was all 'oh isn't the March 5th the deadline? Why would you shut down the government now over something that isn't urgent?'...and then a day later the DEMs cave and then CNN bashes them? LOL

The senate dems just gave the republican propaganda machine 3 weeks to rewrite a more sinister propaganda campaign that will label Democrats purely as amnesty before military and troops. Mark my words.
