All of you need to chill out. The debate on immigration starts next week.

If Dems shut the government down or refuse to reach a budget deal, chances are this will piss off Trump and the GOP, who control 3 branches of government, and cause them to back away on immigration negotiations. Democrats just aren't strong enough to maintain a government shutdown to make Trump cave in.

So, I guess the only way is to appease Trump and the GOP with the hope we get cooperation on immigration.

Because the Freedom Caucus wanted the Goodlatte bill? A bill that doens't even come close to what Trump himself is proposing. It would make sense that Ryan would allow a vote on a bill that comes out of the Senate or simply allow an open debate like McConnell is going to do and see what comes out of it.

You went from a Pelosi promise to the Senate? Ryan doesn’t care what comes out of the senate, he cares about the freedom caucus and Trump, not about Nancy. Something will get done eventually but it won’t come from a Nancy Pelosi promise, that I can tell you.

I completely agree, if some does passes in the senate and Trump supports it Ryan will jump on that with the quickness. Let’s hope this gets done.

Bro, chill. Everything is uncertain. But, the facts are we have momentum and both sides miraculously want to get something done despite differences on border security.

Relax and wait until next week(s). Immigration debate begins next week.

Fuck, for all we know, a deal on immigration can even be reached on Friday or something. We don't know. Just let shit unfold.
