Good chart.

LMFAO though. So many bills that we need a chart to keep track of their difference. Despite all these bills, they actually don't want to do shit.

Other than the Grassley bill of course, I would say the Flake bill comes very close to what Trump wants and it’s very fair in my opinion.

Why should they have to give everything the other side asks and in turn not cover all Dreamers??

There are too many of us. Last CIR legalized 3 million people. There are 11 million people now. DACAs eligible alone amount to more than 1.8 million.

That’s a question you should be asking Chuck and the rest of the Democrats. Most dreamers already know the clear answer to your question.

"every fighter walks into a fight very confident until they get hit."

We all been hit and probably knocked the fuck out. Accept the reality and be willing to accept the GOP proposals that are capable of being ratified because those are our only chances.

Trump's proposal isn't that bad in comparison to Gardner-Bennett

But, yes. Overall I agree with you bro.

Democrats lost all leverage. They should just fucking cave and support whatever bill GOP is offering. Grassley/WH is our best bet.

Amen!

I have read most of the Grassley bill and it's offering:

-7 years of "Conditional Temporary Resident Status" or as I call it C.T.Resident "status"
-have to be employed, military service, or school minimum requirement
-Able to TRAVEL as long as the Resident status doc/ID is carried
+++special attention to people with felonies* (probably not able to travel as freely)*
-After 7 years of CT Resident Status, eligible for Legal Permanent Resident (LPR)
-Then eligible for US citizenship after 5 years of LPR status
*Military Dreamers would probably get all this done within 3-4 years of any qualifying "military" service from approaval of CT Resident status to US Citizenship.

Special avenues for asking waivers if someone has a significant misdeamenor that would make the applicant not only rejected but placed on proceedings

So yeah I do support it and I hope at least 20-30 Senate centrist/common sense people cross isle and support it or whatever "amended" version 70-80 Senators can agree to pass.

This is a great bill. Republican President, Republican House and Senate.

The Democrats can only demand amendments to "tweak" some versions. They will have to drop the leftist/progressive loud mouths that are only looking ahead of their own Presidential ambitions by not finding true common ground and actually passing a law to protect us.

And the Republicans will lose lots of Freedom Cockus lol But who cares if you can easily get 70-100 Demos in the house to put the bill over the top and .......Trump signs it!

I mean seriously, I am 29 years old, and I can kind of figure out that this is the ONLY possible outcome.

We got the floor, everyone is getting to propose bills...time is now!

Put up or shut up Demos. Im a centrist anyway but I do hope the Dems see that this is or a similar amended proposal as the only way to make wishes into law to allow us to move on with our lives.

Tomorrow, and possibly Friday (if the debate drags on...senate rules...blah blah) will be the definite days of any possible law being passed this Congress.

If this all fails, next time is after 2020. But I do hope this passes. This is it you guys...the roller coaster is coming to an end...DACA law or no DACA law BUT renewals will MOST likely still be good for 2020 at least for most.

Personal advice: do what you want to do with your life now, no matter whether its here or in a jungle. We are what we think and no matter what happens, we are American educated and will always be thankful for being able to unlock our own God given abilities to succeed against all odds. We are a strong community and we shall not rest until we flourish and stop this cognitive dissonance of not being fully American/USC but not also having a "home" to go back to....

The El Rancho can wait...I need more time here :D
