The Democrats are dumb as a rock in my opinion. Why go after an impeachment if they damn well know it’s going to be an automatic failure in the Senate.

This is exactly what the president wanted and nothing it’s going to come out of it other than a waste of time and resources.

The President being impeached is a big deal, even if the Senate fails to convict him. Doing nothing is definately not the right thing to do. How are Democrats going to run against Trump in 2020 and call him out on all of the bad stuff he did if he can just turn around and say, if what I did was so bad how come I wasn't impeached.

Trump did not want this. Which is why he's freaking out and called Pelosi yesterday and literally said, what can we do about this whistleblower stuff.

I don't think people on here realize how big of a deal this is historically regardless of the Senate's likely inaction.
