Because they (especially Dems) want to squeeze every last political gain from it. Dems know DACA recipients are safe at least until June so no point in passing a law. But if god forbid DACA is taken down you watch how they will scramble. As long as DACA is alive and especially if Dems are in control do not expect any law to pass. Within Dems the BEST candidates in my eyes are Buttigieg and Gabbard or even Beto but I think we will have to settle for Biden. Harris is the worst of them all for us at least, she is ultra liberal who has no intention of passing immigration reform laws.
