100%. DACA was always meant to be temporary, it was meant to give Congress little bit time to pass legislation but Congress took it the wrong way and refused to do anything! Judging on how happy Schumer was on the SCOTUS decision, I'm afraid we're headed down the same path all over again. Do not think I'm against DACA. I'm just more for legislation. Far left immigration groups absolutely love DACA and want it to remain in place forever. Its very sad. Now..I'll save y'all some energy and call myself a "Trumper." SMH.

I don't believe Trump when he says he wants a solution. At least Dems try to pass legislation for us. GOP won't even let people vote on bills. Trump tanked every bipartisan bill out there.

Trump was not elected to bring a solution for Dreamers then why would you believe him when he said he wants a solution in the first place. He was elected to deport them.

No. Daca is lawful because the executive branch has prosecutorial discretion in deciding whom it wants to focus its resources on for deportation.

Please explain why DACA is unlawful. Which constitutional and INA provisions does DACA violate? Article 1, Sec. 8 gives Congress power to regulate naturalization. The INA sets out procedures for naturalization. Nobody is applying for naturalization via daca dude.

We are pushing for a permanent solution because, albeit lawful, forbearance of removal (DACA)is a temporary decision made by the executive branch--a prosecutorial decision that can change by administration solely for political reasons--not reasons based on legality/illegality.

In today's news, courts don't rule on matters not before them. Hell, they rarely if ever reach conclusions that weren't spoon fed to them by either party (they can, but they normally don't).

Like there is such thing in dicta where a court makes a legal observation outside the scope of the case but guess what, those don't establish a legal precedent.
