Re: Presidential Debate: June 2024
I dont think the debates matter all that much to the overall election.. People are not voting for Biden, they are voting against Trump. I don't think that is strong enough to get Biden elected but that is the reality.

Re: Presidential Debate: June 2024
say it with me DAP! President Trump!
awesome debate, Trump is guaranteed to win now, planet will begin healing. SCOTUS will kill DACA, Trump will FORCE democrats to move their asss and compromise, we finally gonna get fixed, all the liberals with United We Dream will seethe to infinity since their cash cow wont exist anymore! the country will be rescued. not only that. Trump does great trade agreements, USMCA is a great example even Obrador praised countless times, so even our countries will get some benefit of him coming back. truly good news. cant wait for this lame inflation to dissappear and 1$ gas. |

I don’t know, but there is no way the Biden campaign did not know Joe was not capable of running for another term. I think this was done on purpose to in order to not have primaries out of the fear that a far leftist commie would win and get destroyed by trump. And now, the party will self select bidens replacement who will be a centrist more likely to defeat trump than a far leftie the democrat voters would select.

I still think Trump will get a solution pushed through by eradicating DACA and forcing the issue. At this point any action is better than the silence we've been getting from Democrats for the past 4 years. Of course, there will always be some that want to continue DACA for ever, but I aint one of them.

Re: Presidential Debate: June 2024
Most here are looking at it the wrong way, Trump's Anti immigration stance is for those who are currently crossing the border illegally. Trump's focus is on the ones that are the real criminals which is easy to then think that he is 100% against immigration.
He already said in the past that he is for merit based immigration, he already involved DACA in the conversation, he already suggested giving GCs to graduates. Trump isn't a "hard right" guy, he is a business man, willing to negotiate. He tried to negotiate comprehensive immigration reform during his term, I don't remember that happening under Biden, at all. The fear mongering of another Trump presidency is overblown, we did just fine the last time around and we will continue to be a part of this country no matter who wins. |
