Donny backed off from going after H-1Bs solely because Elon wants a bunch of indentured servants at his companies. Even the 14th amendment is rubbing Donny the wrong way because his wife's son grew a bit too tall. DACAers might be the most favorable out of all illegal immigrants and they will not hold their nose for you regardless. |

"Hard to guess what will pass this early. Better prediction of which may be considered and debated. I think Durbin DACA amendment might pick up traction. Lots of co-signers. And maybe R language on harming law enforcement. Laken Riley killer alleged attacked CBP officer during arrest."

Re: Laken Riley Act Amendments: Conditional path to citizenship for DACA receipents
Sadly UWD has already stepped up to speak on our behalf and I think in this situation we'd better take what we can get because its clear that Senate republicans have enough Democrat support to pass this bill without any softening amendments.
Its time to pick popcorn off the floor, not demand a new bag of fresh popcorn. And yes, I know that the bill as is would hurt others. I have to look out for my best interest primarily, everyone looks out for their own best interest first. You can't save the drowning if you drown along with them. |
