i think the whole "We are going after criminals first" is a ruse.
Going after everyone was the plan from the start.
They had to make it politically acceptable so they started with the most indefensible targets. Now they've gauged the public's reaction and found widespread support instead of protests.
This is phase 2 already. They've got momentum and will use it.
They are raiding a bunch of random ass places that have nothing to do with criminals.
The whole strategy is to appear to be everywhere , sow confusion, and fear.
In the meantime, exploiting everything for max political gains while trying to put the Democrats into an impossible situation.
It's the "let's make their lives unbearable that they will want to self-deport".
Plus, every single arrest is making the news and it's blowing everything out of proportion.

Nah, i dont think so. Obama was deporting 2,198 per day. Trump's numbers are peanuts compared to it.

They are just ramping up the propaganda on tv with Dr. Phil and shit.

Yeah but with Obama I'm guessing that a large number of that were summary removals (basically removed on entry) and some that had final orders. Also back then pretty sure the current process of applying for asylum wasn't a thing so you'd be better off just EWI'ing and applying while you're in US or applying defensively if you get caught. Currently eligibility for the interim C08 EAD is tied to presenting yourself for inspection which is a pretty big carrot to make people queue up and not scale the wall.

I don't really trust Trump to abide by the legal process considering that their stupid little raids managed to snag a few US Citizens, one of whom was a Puerto Rican with his military ID on him. Might not be a US Passport but considering that you generally need to be legal to join the military (or at least will come out legally out the other end) if you catch someone with one of those you should probably just let them go or at most detain them long enough to verify with the DOD that the person exists and then let them go.

Venezuelans and Haitians fucked up this shit for everyone. Mexicans and others came here to work not for handouts.

But the new migrants want everything handed to them and even want to protest. Lots of energy to demand Venezuelan food but aren't grateful for whatever they get. Lots of energy to protest.

Biden Admin wanted the economy roaring back

Inject huge cash

Inject huge number of migrant workers

It did work to bring back the economy

You're falling right into their playbook. They want immigrants to blame other immigrants. This takes the useless politicians off the chopping block.

Instead of blaming other immigrants, blame the politicians on both sides for not fixing the system for DECADES. If we had a sensible system, there wouldn't be people coming in and getting handouts.

Don't put your frustration on other immigrants. Blame and call out the politicians.
