We still need a lot more people participating if we truly want to make an impact. So, whoever hasn't signed up for this yet needs to do it ASAP. Especially all the new people, so they are familiar with it once DREAM is introduced again! (Basically, what Free said :D). Oct 24th is only 2 days away!

I feel so weird...

I hadn't realized that an entire year had gone by.

I remember the good times that we had, calling until past midnight and leaving VM's until their mailboxes were completely full EVERY NIGHT!, the MSN calling group-chats! LOL ... and on the other hand, I remember the horrible disappointment that I felt that day. it's weird that I can remember exactly where I was and what i was doing when the DA got shot down that day :-(

Well, the best therapy is to get back in the game! :-) I want to feel like I;m doing something again! We've been slacking off for too long.

I know what you mean. The year just flew by. When the site went down after DREAM failed, mostly everyone went on String's chatroom on IRC. That's where I got to know a few good friends.

i went to COSA... though when DAP came back up, i came right back :-D

I didn't participate in the calls last year, I was more of a lurker so I didn't really know what was going on.

Do you guys also think it would be a good idea to call new congress members after the election? I think it would be a good idea to figure out where they stand ASAP so we can start building a new list of supporters and people to convince.

Yea, it was people like you who caused dream act to fail last year.:-x

Thanks, I like playing the blame game...it's quite productive. I didn't participate in the calls that day, I simply couldn't. I did call at other times.

So, does anyone know if any of the non-supporters is not running for re-election and of those who are, does anyone know if it's likely they will lose their seat?

If nobody knows, I will try to find polls and other info and report back if you point me to the list of non-supporters.
