I don't know why but I am more excited than back in 6/15/2012! LOL.
I want to see some happy posts in this forum. I am sure there are so many older Dreamers scoping this forum out here and there but I don't see any of them talking about the exciting news!

I am definitely excited. Older DREAMers are finally going to be helped. And a lot of other families are going to get relief. I've been getting calls all day from family friends and family members who may benefit but are unsure because the requirements haven't been explicitly laid out. My mother, on the other hand, is cautiously optimistic, although based on what we are hearing she will qualify. She only has two traffic offenses for driving without a license. So, as long as nothing like that disqualifies you, she should be alright.

To all of you calling the President names and insulting him shame on you. Did you forget that its because of him that you at least have an EAD? Did you forget that already? Do you remember how life was before he deferred your deportation? I certainly remember how mine was and cannot imagine how difficult it would be to go back to that situation. Have some fucking respect will you. Imagine if Mitt Romney had won the election, what would you be saying then?

I'm grateful he changed my life and now I work in a job making more than 70k. Yes my friend, I'm appreciative and I still can't say thank you enough. I went from factory work, to tech work thanks to Obama. What concerns me the most is the parents of DACA dreamers like us. But if Obama is not including them, I'm still happy he's going to push another Date. Although I firmly believe this should also include our parents. It's called DACA..... it would make sense to include our parents as well. But only the president has his reasons. I'm just really hurt parents of DACA dreamers will not be included. It broke my heart to see my parents go from happy, to sad when they heard that on the Spanish news. They were so excited that they were already getting stuff ready. Oh man.

It breaks my heart seeing them lose hope too. So much.
It's really sad how my parents felt genuine relief and happiness when my bro and I got DACA, even if they were still undoc.

This so hard. Jesus Christ at all of these self entitled dreamers

It looks like my parents will be left out I am extremely happy for people to will benefit from this.

Lmao dreamers puppies turning against each other is just laughable. How bitter can you be you hope this gets blocked only because your family isn't included? As much as it hurts and all its going to help other people like iamaman or drvenom who have families to provide for. You're telling us you hope this EO gets blocked so it the struggle of people continues? This by far has been the most sickening post I have ever seen on this forum.

I hope my parents can be helped. I'm leaning towards yes considering my father has had a record with immigration on trying to adjust but no deportation order.

My mother has not had contact with immigration and my brother is U.S. born, but already 24 years old. That's how long they've been here without leaving.

You know what doc, thanks for the new prosthetic, who cares that you wasted 3.5 years during which my injured arm just fell off on its own.

In my opinion doing a half assed job of what you were promising for years isn't really grounds to be praised, it instead begs the question of "where's the rest?".
