I get that many of our parents want the best of us but in exchange for this legalization (which I am starting to think would be nothing more than DACA or a Bridge like thing that really really is going to filter the best of the best, I am talking one traffic stop and you're out) but at what cost? at the cost of their stay here be put in jeopardy every waking day?

Look at Texas, in Texas cops can ask for status, actually cops are ENFORCED with asking and even if they don't want they can charge with a crime. It doesn't have to be ICE coming after us, it would be Romney self deportation act here. These republicans want nothing short of enforcement and most of them already think our immigration laws are perfect but they are not being enforced. So what kind of CIR if any are we to expect? The house of 2013 actually propose one that asked for people to leave the usa, it was just an idea but damnnnnn.

With this I am not saying, "Legalize all or no one" but lets not forget we wouldn't be in this mess if it wasnt for these AG who are all republicans. And we need to push for a solution that would help us but NOT at the cost of everyone around us to have a harder life

Reform usually comes in the form of legalization for some and more enforcement for others
as part of the deal. The enforcement part usually is against future immigrants, because that is the easiest group.

Something like, let DACA stand with a chance for a green card for college graduates. In exchange , enforcement against future immigration. Such as move parents to Fourth Preference for new petitions and implement e-verify for new hires only.

Merit based immigration is what makes sense.

While keeping family based petitions small, and only available to spouses and parents.

Open up to the low skill labor market. Most people want to come to work. Give them the chance, make it part of trade agreements. Low skill labor is a need the u.s has, let people who are willing to work those jobs to come if they can afford it.

Can you define low skill labor? My father didn't come here to work low skill jobs.

Picking fruits, dairy industry labor.

I believe other professions have a shortage, and actually this shortage will increase due to Americans not going into those professions anymore.

You are right, there will be need for electricians etc.. although that will be hard, there will have to be a way to get certified. Etc..
