Thank god I sent my renewal even with 1 year and something left on my actual one, will have 2 years to see what can be fixed, let's see if something happens in 2018 if democrats retake majority.. I won't hold my breath though, I'll leave that for my anaerobic pool training.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but won’t they return your app since it’s not within 180 days of expiration?

No, most lawyers will tell you this, but if you read carefully you can send it before 180, I already got accepted. This was all thanks to @unix cause my own "lawyer" said we need 180 days.

Theres a FAQ that says although is recommended by USCIS to renew within 180 days, you can renew whenever you like basically.

They asked for expedited review by the Supreme Court, circumventing the Ninth Circuit. They want DACA to be finished as soon as possible, not to drag it out to the elections.

Administration is not seeking a stay, which means the March 5 deadline would be kept as a soft deadline (he can change it)

If your renewal application gets rejected, do you still lose the ~$500 application fee?

I posted it only after I saw his comment and realized he wasn’t interested, as you mentioned it was something that needed it’s own thread, but in all fairness I did give him the credit for it.
