Re: OFFICIAL: Q&A for DACA forms Part 2

For DACA renewal.

1. I-765
2. Question 11 - "Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from USCIS?"
3. I answered yes.
I don't know which USCIS office to write down. Is this where I went to do my biometrics?

Thank you.

Edit:
Found a link that tells you how to find the office that did you paper work.

Re: OFFICIAL: Q&A for DACA forms Part 2

for proving my annual expenses and asset value, for part 2. questions 3 and 4 of i-765WS form.
  • should i provide copy of expenses like electric bill etc? they'll have my dad's name on it though? Will that involve my dad in my case? I don't want him to get into any trouble or something.
  • Also total current value of my assists? my parents bought me everything, so my assets is what they bought me? clothes, computer, bed sheets? chair, decoration?

i also asked this question at http://dreamact.info/forum/showpost....5&postcount=14

I821D
page 4

requestor's certification

My question is; I'm filling this out by myself do I sign it or leave it blank? (or is that where my signature goes on my behalf?)

Re: OFFICIAL: Q&A for DACA forms Part 2

I have a question in regards to I-8's Residence and Travel information, I'm moving back to my old address that I've been in since coming into the U.S...

I've only had two official addresses that I've listed in my previous DACA renewal and original DACA request.

Address A is my grandparent's home, and it's where I basically grew up before moving out. I moved out after my second DACA renewal, and now I'm coming back to my primary address.

I will probably be residing in my old address in less than a year, so would it bother USCIS if I just didn't include my second address, and just put in my primary address in form I-821D, part 2.?

Basically I had my present address listed in my last renewal as well as my old address (the one that I've lived in longer and first) as address 1. I was thinking of just writing my old address in Present Address, and just forgetting about my previous address.

Would it matter? Does anyone know if there was an issue here? Is USCIS really specific about addresses? Because I didn't even list my other addresses that I lived in, though they were only in short moments.

No it's not a dumb question. The border crossing number is not the same as I94.
If this is a renewal you don't need to fill this out, unless you travelled since your renewal.

Re: OFFICIAL: Q&A for DACA forms Part 2

Renewing my EAD for the third time... Question on I-765 form, parts 12-14. I traveled abroad for work with advance parole and returned on 05/09/2015 but I've been residing in the U.S. since 2003. Just checking if I should add my original I-94 date (was on B-2 visa in 2003) or the business travel date (Advance Parole in 2015?

12. Date of Last Entry into the U.S., on or about
(mm/dd/yyyy)

13. Place of Last Entry into the U.S.

14. Status at Last Entry (B-2 Visitor, F-1 Student, No Lawful Status, etc.)

If I'm supposed to input my arrival date from Advance Parole travel, would the answer to question 14 be Advance Parole or Unlawful Status: DACA by ICE?

Thanks, everyone!

What would be the border crossing number? I see that it's optional. I traveled w/ Advance Parole in 2015. Time to renew my EAD as it expires in December this year.

Same question. I have never even had a passport. Should I leave it blank? or just fill in not applicable?

After some reading, these passport/travel document parts are repeats of the ones on the I821d, so just copy whatever you put from that. As far as current immigration status, just put "Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals".

Re: OFFICIAL: Q&A for DACA forms Part 2

I have a question for section 18 of the new part of the I765 form. The application says to
Quote:

List all countries where you are currently a citizen or national. If you need extra space to complete this item, use the space provided in Part 6. Additional Information.
But the instructions say
Quote:

Item Number 18.a. - 18.b. Country or Countries of Citizenship or Nationality. Type or print the name of the country
or countries where you are currently a citizen or national.
1. If you are stateless, type or print the name of the country where you were last a citizen or national.
2. If you are a citizen or national of more than one country, type or print the name of the foreign country that issued your last passport.
So what's the deal? Do we put all countries or just the last? I was born in Hong Kong/China, but my citizenship on DACA forms and last place my passport was issued from is Mexico.

USCIS hasn’t uploaded the new form. You can still use that form. Your application will still be accepted

Right here:

Yeah, they probably say they're expired, but that is the most up-to-date form. While the new form is updated, you may use the current forms.

Good luck!

Re: OFFICIAL: Q&A for DACA forms Part 2

Hey everyone, it's been such a long time since I logged in here.
Hope you all are well.

So my DACA expires September 27, 2019 - which as of today is 211 days away.

I had a few questions..

1. I can still renew right? I've heard some conflicting things, but am I correct in my understanding that USCIS is no longer accepting NEW applicants but is still allowing us to renew?

2. Is there anything new as far as the forms are concerned? Is it the same deal?
Form I765, I765WS, I821D, two passport photos with signature and A-number on the back of one of them, a money order and ship it out?

3. I've downloaded the forms from the USCIS site and for some reason on I821D, it won't let me put type in a date for when I expire on Page 1, can I just use the same file I have on my computer from my previous renewal, which does allow me to type in a date? I've looked through the form and they seem identical from what I can see.

Thank you!!

1. You’re correct.

2. It’s the same. I guess the biggest difference is you could pay with a debit or credit card now (check the I-765 page, the guidance should be under “filing fee”.

3. Check the expiration date on your previous form located on the top right of the first page of the I-821D . If it is 1/31/2019, then it’s the current form and is still accepted. Otherwise, if you can’t fill it out on the computer just write it in with a black pen

& yes, that is the same date that's on my previous renewal form.
I did notice the I765 form is completely different, what is the USCIS Account Number? It says it's optional, but I always do more than required on these forms..

& oh wow, thank you for telling me about that - I hated having to make money orders and having to write down the all the little details.

Re: OFFICIAL: Q&A for DACA forms Part 2

I’m doing a renewal for the i765 page 3 information about your last arrived us and information about eligibility do I have to fill that out? I’m confused to leave it blank or not since I’m doing a renewal. Also it for i821 page 3 residence and travel info do I have to put all the addresses that I have lived in since I came to the us when I was 7 years old? I did that in my initial request for DACA but since I’m doing a renewal do I just put my present address and that’s all? Thanks in advance to anyone who answers much appreciated!
