Re: MAVNI updates
I won't mention anything about closing. Just roll with it, army is a big organization and if you did enlist for some weird reason then by all means. ;)

2) G845 was approved. 3) Physical scheduled was schedule for this week. After that OPI was going to be scheduled. Mostly, my recruiter was very interested in getting me in since I chose active duty and got a 99 on the ASVAB. But I am not sure if there is an actual possibility that I would still get in. But I can hypothesize a scenario where some people don't show up to BCT (for whatever reason), so an exception is made to allow other people in. |

Re: MAVNI updates
What's unluckier than having to go through all processing--that's ASVAB, Physical, and OPI--and seeing the door shut down right in front of you. HAHAHA. I was planning on enlisting sometime this week or the week after, but I guess 2016 isn't just my year. Hopefully it will open up sometime in October as many of us wish.

Re: MAVNI updates
Unfortunately the memo went out to the recruiter said to cease the application process, regardless of where in the process you are.

Re: MAVNI updates
no luck for me.. my OPI got canceled. Hopefully it will reopen soon. :(

Re: MAVNI updates
Now I'm trying for Army Reserve. Initially, they said they can just use the DLPT I already took, but apparently, I still need to take the Tagalog OPI.

Re: MAVNI updates
Hello. Assuming the program reopens and I'm able to enroll sometime in May or June next year, if I learn a language that is not my native language and I excel at it enough to pass their tests, do you think they would let me enroll even though it is not my native language
