Re: New Co-Sponsors
This sounds like a great idea! We can set small targets and little by little get these senators to sponsor, or at least acknowledge that they are supporting the bill.
Great to know we have 16, we are off to a good start. I just left a message for senator Casey, and will call tomorrow to actually speak with one of his staff. |

Re: New Co-Sponsors
IM glad to know feinstein is in, my state CA. Whos next?
Also, when i called otehr senators they asked for my ZIP code and obviously i gave them the zip code from the district BUT then they asked me for my address and phone number, I told them i prefer not to give it out. ARE YOU GUYS getting the same when you call outside your ZIP CODE? |

Sometimes they ask and sometimes they don't. Just say you'd rather not, but make sure you give them a zip code. |
Re: New Co-Sponsors
give them zip 17101 or 17201 or 17257.

Re: New Co-Sponsors
I can't believe Cantwell hasn't jumped on board yet, Patty Murray is a co-sponsor, and Washington State is a pro-Dream act state as far as senators go...

Re: New Co-Sponsors
I'm happy to see the new co-sponsors. I'll be sure to do some calling tomorrow.
I can't help by feel much more optimistic this time around guys. I'm going to see how many more of my friends who are Dreamies can help make calls. ;) |
