Anyone have the exact list of Reps in Senate who do support Dream Act?

The problem is this is not real; 3 more Reps, however not all Democrats are going to vote Yes for a comprehensive immigration reform.

On the other hand, dream act does have enough off votes to pass.

Well Reid said 56 votes. I am going by Reid. He is the majority speaker.

The key to pass CIR is Border Security.

That is what Reid thinks; Border Security is an excuse not the key.

Reid new CIR Plan offer Border Security, has any republican hoped in? NO.

Seriously dude, you have to stop posting senseless stuff up for your own good man. I know you want to be optimistic and everything and for that I thank you, but optimistic does not mean moronic. To that last part of your statement, how in the hell would more Republican seats in the senate mean support for us? In case you haven't been following the Republicans have been opposing EVERYTHING that the Democrats have proposed. So if the Democrats propose CIR when the Republicans control Congress, what do you think will happen to it? It will be shot down so quickly it'll make your head spin. So more Republican seats do not equal more support for us ANYWHERE.

If you go by border security, we will never get reform ever. Sure it can help but I think they will make excuses until not even 1 person can come illegally. What about people who overstayed their visas?

I just agree with the above posters. Totally lame excuses by Republicans when they bring up "border security not secure enough".

And besides you saw all 41 republicans say "NO" to anything pretty much Dems want to reform. And please, read some news. Graham is not on our side. And getting 4 more votes from the party of "NO!" is very hard at this time, when there are many other bills being talked on Senate floor. Please be realistic. Too much optimism is not healthy.

They will when the bill is on the floor.

There were Rep support in 2007. If the bill does not pass before elections then Hispanics will vote for Rep and therefore CIR/Dream Act will get a lot of support from the Reps.

Well the border is not secure right now. If thats what the Republicans in Senate so be it. Alteast we will get a bill passed.

Graham is part of the CIR bill with Schumer. Why would he say no?

I still think bill be on the floor before elections, it may not pass in 2010 but it will in early 2011. 1986 bill passed after the mid-term elections.

Dude in case you don't know, there is NO REPUBLICAN SUPPORT for CIR, NONE AT ALL. Graham pulled out of the sponsorship because he is not getting his way and Democratic Leaders wanted to move Immigration to the top of the list. He would/will more than likely vote NO, it is almost certain. So that is why Graham'd vote nay on his 'own' bill. Now stop saying saying that CIR has Republican support please.
