How about essays that we have written? Like old assignments we can send photocopies, even better if thet are graded with an A and original. I know the majority of us still have them saved on our hard drives. That way no one loses $100 textbooks or postage fees.

thats a good idea. just buy anything as long its the message. post the address. if you want to mobilize you have to put contact info.

Something like this will require some people to volunteer the whole way and continuous monitoring until we are able to act. First we need a place to send the stuff to, some place that is preferably close to the ultimate destination, perhaps someone here that lives in Arizona or Utah can go to a church and see if they are willing to help us out for this cause.
We would need someone that can drive the stuff over to the destination, preferably someone legally here and is willing to help us out for this cause, would not want to see someone get deported because they drove a truck.
Contacting media after we are ready to act (just about the last step) and hope that they show up.
Thinking innovative ways which we could execute this to really show that without the dream act the knowledge is wasted, dumping the notes on the street might break some laws so research about what the state and city allows might also be necessary.
And finally an letter to explain our actions demonstrating our need, what we may be able to do, you know something from us to the public.

I was thinking that maybe we could put the notes in some sort of coffin, but maybe that might be too extreme, and it might offend some people.

Finally there are an estimated 768,000 that would immediately benefit from the DREAM Act, and about 1.2 million others or total, no one knows for sure that could over the duration benefit from this Act, but less then 1000 active members here, and certainly much less then that which will read this, we might want, after we are pretty well organized, reach out to people or other places where supporters of the DA including dreamers, go to.
Since we can't or won't go to those places, our notes, books would have to take our place and the more that gets there the better.

Ok so today I went to goodwill and bought like 6 or 7 textbook. All for like 10 bucks. How u guys did?
