Yeah, I do notice that's why I tend to try not to count my eggs before they hatch.

Don't ever assume Dream Act will pass... Don't amuse you will last a while in this country. Prepare for the worst and your will be rewarded well.

Washington is only going to talk about jobs. DA is not even in the list. Even we start debating DA now, we still won't have the time.

If I prepare for/think about the worst scenario, you will see me on TV splattered all over the ground after jumping off a building. Hope/idealism/optimism keeps me going.

"Negative ideas" or thoughts about a near future with no hope leads to negative things.

If the DA is combined with E-verify, the improvement of the visa program, and even Ag Jobs, I think we have a chance. I know I will be alienated as a result of posting this comment, but I profoundly believe we have a chance; compromise is always possible.

Compromise is a must in order for this country to move forward.

I see what you mean. Democrats need to be more "determined" on the issue. Insist, insist, insist, insist . . . insist.

So, it will be nice to see how the debate on immigration unfolds. How the debate is brought up is the question. Schumer is, I think, working on a bipartisan bill. Lamar Smith will seek to advance E-verify--enthusing congressional Democrats and, even the President, to pressure for compromise.

Christmas miracle, everyone. Christmas miracle.
