Illegal aliens are require to file taxes regardless of status, its why ITIN even exist. Most DACers have been here most of their lives half of them providing immunization records and suddenly, "wait!! DACA didnt require that!!!" is bring cried?

It's my observation, and I believe it to be a legitimate public health issue when/if deferred action is expanded to adults who were not raised in the U.S. I have filed and paid taxes for 20 yrs; but, I don't see the pre-condition of being a taxpayer as an exemption from public health screening. I don't understand how you're connecting it to public health.

I'm not the decider of any of this, so don't get worked up about it.

Our families, our parents, ourselves are not biological hazards marauding throughout our communities.

I do not know a single person, undocumented or not, who wouldn't comply with vaccination requirements or a medical exam. As we know, it's required for adjustment of status by law. It's something that tracks the health status of the community.

That has always been my view, and thus, the reason why I put off having kids. I hope it doesn't come back to bite me in the ass. I hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling the EO will only extend as far as parents with under age citizens. My parents messed up, they should have had me 5 days earlier and I would have qualified for DACA two years ago. Pft....

It’s kind of late here and my mind is all over the place, so I hope the following makes sense. I’ve been reading just about every article on immigration being published this month. It seems like most articles are a rehash of the article posted by the OP. One thing that these articles have in common, and which always catches my attention, is the forecast being made about the group of undocumented immigrants that will benefit from the upcoming EO. A large portion of these articles suggest that parents of USC are the group most likely to be the one to benefit from the EO. What is interesting is that many of these articles implicitly imply that “immigration advocates” are trying to push Obama to choose this specific group to be the beneficiaries of his EO. Yet, not many of the articles mention which immigration advocates they are talking about or if these advocates have the ability to influence the president’s decision. Since I don’t know much about politics, I’m wondering if those of you who follow politics know if there is some group of immigration advocates that is actively trying to get the president to target a specific group with his EO and who also have a true potential to influence the president on the matter?

Maybe I’m not used to news articles, but a lot of the times it seems like the people who write news articles just reiterate what everyone else is saying without adding anything new or useful.
