Warning you will get even more impatient for these things to arrive than ever before. It's pretty ridiculous actually. I think it's because because we are so close and yet far enough.

Hi everyone, I've seen a lot of people getting approved quickly for their first time applying. As you can tell from my signature this is my second time applying for DACA and the application was routed to the CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER And still have not heard anything from them in regards of approval or RFE. I am getting very anxious since I was laid off from work last week after 3 years working there with no legal documentation. Now I'm struggling to find a job that would let me work Part time, since I'm currently a college student. Does anyone happen to know in what month applications is the CSC working on? I know that for the first time applicants is 6 month, but other people that have applied and shared a very close timeline with me where approved last month. Any output would be appreciated.

Were you given a reason on why you were denied the first time? or why it took so long?? Have you had troubles with law enforcement in the past? fraud?

No I don't have any criminal record. I was brought here as a child and overstayed my visa. And the reason for the denial was because supposedly I didn't respond to the RFE within the timeframe given.

That sounds very weird, especially since it took them forever to deny you anyway... I am sorry. Hopefully everything goes a lot smoother this time. I sent in my application in November and got approved in the beginning of this month, so it took about 5 months, maybe a little longer. Hope everything goes well for you!
