Millenials dont vote. We all know that.

Trump also flipped a lot of places that Obama had won easily. There was this one place in Ohio that had a 42 point swing.

Yeah...ok Mitch McConnell of all people?

Let's take a stroll down memory lane to December 2010, I believe it was the 10th. Some of the Dreamers on this site must still remember this, some may have been a bit young and may not have been aware of their statuses back then.

Even though I am legalized now, I still remember that day very clearly and I will caution people to be very careful in trusting what he is saying. That morning had 2 Bills up for vote in the Senate; the Repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell and the Dream Act. I remember Mitch McConnell getting in front of the cameras to say that they would not be able to stop the repeal of DADT but they would "definitely" be able to defeat the Dream Act.

I remember being so dumbfounded as to why he disliked us so much that he would want the Dream Act to fail so badly. Sure enough the Dream Act failed that morning and I remember just feeling numb that morning and not eating all day. Since when did he have a change of heart? It is worrisome that they keep bringing up DACA, they need to just leave it alone until they have something better passed; anything else that they say is hot air and I would not believe one word.

Obama really helped us out with DACA. Now they will be forced to pass a bill if daca gets taken away.

I totally understand where you're coming from. I just don't see how they can all retract from something to help us. Ryan, Trump, McConnell etc. I don't think we have ever had such support from all relevant parties.

The 'change of heart' comes from McConnell having no back bone (literally and figuratively). He's the epitome of sly a bureaucrat that'll please anyone and anybody to keep their jobs, in this case I have a feeling he's repeating Trump's words to appeal to, well, Trump.

That being said I don't see it as a negative for us if he's willing to do a 180 on DACA just to please his boss. Why not take advantage of his no neck / no back bone / no soul -ness.

Enlist act now has 77 co sponsors. Huge chance to pass since more are republican than democrat.

Forget about the enlist act. It doesn't even have a counterpart in the senate .

Having a lot of cosponsers for a bill means nothing. Even though only some democrats are cosponserinng you c an rest assure the vote will be among party lines. However, it does look like it can pass.

Enlist act will pass before bridge act- "the bandaid on a bleeding wound"

Who wants bridge act anyway? Its basically guaranteeing the death of DACA.

Enlist act has plenty of sponsors and still has a pulse, meanwhile bridge act is dying and slowing down. I don't know where yo
