The bill from House doesn't include the daca fix but even if it passes the house which I don't think is going to happen, It is not going to pass the senate. We need to remember that Flake said that they are close to an agreement on daca and Schumer said the same thing yesterday in the news conference. We need to wait for the senate to agree on their version of the spending bill. This is where we have the leverage.

^ if there wasn’t a bipartisan discussion, we wouldn’t be receiving this information. A wise person once told me when it comes to politics, read sources from both sides of the spectrum. Whatever is confirmed between the two sources, you can take as truth. The other stuff is the political fluff of each party’s view.

I think that is great advice. I'm trying to be optimistic (it's a bit difficult and distracting) since the bipartisan group says that they are close while those outside the group (like Menendez and the 538 guy) are the people questioning whether it will happen this year.

Let's just be real here guys, a DACA fix won't happen this year. There's 2 weeks left in the year.

Realistically daca fix isnt possible by dec 22nd since democrats fucked us up by putting votes over what they claim to stand for. Also it would be almost impossible next year as both parties try to pin the problems that arise from daca ppl expiring on their work authorization. We're just getting used by republicans and democrats are doing the same. Both parties happily will use us for political gains -___- If democratic leadership punts the daca issue to 2018 it will be utter failure for them. Hopefully a miracle happens and they quit playing games.
