Chain migration is not going to end. Trump will not get his wall. These are non starters for democrats, even to save us.
Please stop posting that the democrats will even agree to any changes in that area. It’s not happening

I agree with you, the Dems are not going to give away 6 to 10 million people that would be able to adjust (now or in the future) for 800k dreamers, but hey we have seen crazier things.

No I believe something will pass but it will be added to the spending bill so trump won’t veto it. He’s the only crazy one insisting on all these things. Then you have the ass kissers graham and McConnell following suit and asking for this shit now. They would compromise though with something more rational, would trump? Who knows... let’s see how the meeting goes

Scenario 1, Dems give Reps everything they want; wall, enforcement, and chain migration. And dreamers get some sort of daca fix. (Chances of this happening, 25% in my humble opinion)

Scenario 2, Dems walk away because Reps demand are unreasonable according to Dems Chances of this (Chances of this happening, 50% in my humble opinion)

Scenario 3, They both reach an agreement and get what they want. (Chances of this happening, 40% in my humble opinion)

If democrats started caving in to their demands guess what would happen? More irrational demands! They would really want to see chain migration end all together. The reason being, they are scared white people are going to bed up a minority in the country. Democrats would never even entertain their foolish requests.

Agree.

The problem is that some of these Dems don't even understand immigration issues, except for Durbin, Gutierrez and a hand full of others, they really don't understand how complex immigration is and they might cave to the crazy Rep demands just to get rid of the problem. I wish we had guys like Ted Kennedy as negotiators.

That's 115%. I think it'll be Scenario 2 until March then it'll be Scenario 1. Republicans know how to play the game.
