Hoyer raised to John Kelly his comments earlier that some Dreamers didn’t apply for DACA because they were too “lazy to get off their asses" during Twos meeting, per Durbin
John Kelly echoed the point again after this meeting, telling reporters: "I gotta say that some of them just should have probably gotten off the couch and signed up, but that doesn't really matter now, because President Trump has given them the status." @davisusan .@SenatorDurbin on preparing for immigration floor debate next week: "We’re girding our loins for battle. ending chain migration is a huge deal because for one there goes some cards the democrats can use for a future CIR and secondly it would create a sub class of citizens.
