Yes, family has been deported too and I saw the aftermath effect on my family's health and well being in every way.

Which is why I say we gain a lot more protecting all Dreamers than by opposing the wall. Money can be made, revenue reallocated for the funding. But 99% of broken families by deportation will not be reunited.

then how can be this naive to think that any relief that passes for us this cycle will be in our terms?

anything that passes this cycle will have anti-immigrant priorities with a GOP majority.

the best we can do is renew and hopefully by 2020 Trump is voted out and we get a Democratic president to reinstate DACA

I'm surprise everyone want's DACA and no pathway to citizenship? People are getting green card right away just because there lucky came out of lottery....seriously we dreamers spent almost all of our life here in US and we are in limbo still :( Can't believe!!!!

if DACAers get legalized, the rest of the community will be targeted.

the status quo pre DACA didnt target chain migration, future immigrants, legal immigration, and there is no wall.

Even if they win back the House and the Senate...my concern is that Trump will still be the president.

its a good check and balance to an unstable president compared to whats going on right now, which Republicans are complicit.

Citizenship would be nice but lets be realistic here, this administration is not going to grant us that unless they get much more in return.

Optimistic for a solution that is within a hand's grasp for Dreamers and looking for solutions for others in danger where a solution is not easily found.

im like the most optimistic person here, i literally said legalization will pass in December via CR and it didnt happen.

u say solution is within hands grasp, it failed 4 times last week.

again ur just spoutin rhetoric at this point, what solution do u expect them to come up with? the best the congress can do is an extension at this point.
