You know if this cases rules against us they can chose to end daca and make active dacas invalid. Stop renewals while in process. A few months ago I wouldn’t even think of them actually doing the

But I think these idiots could end our daca immediately

At least now we have a known date until when we can send renewals. Everyone has a month.

Wrong. Such action would constitute a breach of contract between applicants and the government. Government would get sued for such breach.

I dont think they will end it immediately and I dont think SCOTUS will take the case before the year ends.

1. It is political suicide seeing how close elections are
2. SCOTUS will not want to influence the elections, so the will put it off until after midterms

I suspect the only thing that will influence the elections is Mueller if he releases something in October.

Other than that, I anticipate that renewals will continue until March when I plan to submit my next renewal

They probably won't invalidate issued cards, but who knows? There are so many things Trump and the GOP have done that we thought would harm them and yet it hasn't.

Contract law is partisan? Buy a law book on contracts and read it.

DACA was an administrative discretion by the executive branch but an argument could be made that giving out work permits is an executive overreach.

but okay bachelors degree, lets go with your retort.

Which is why that argument was made at the point of revocation and which is why it is a pending cause of action pending adjudication at the 9th circuit and potentially the supreme court. GREAT.
