2) Yes they did, if the other 5 democrats have voted for us then we would have gotten GC's long time ago. Tester and Manchin are still in the Senate. The other 3 left or died. I will always wish the worse for those 5 Senators that did not vote for us back in 2010. And I am NO fan of Senator Dick Durbin. He COULD NOT WHIP THE VOTES! He is the most ineffective Senator in the Senate. He just wants to print our pictures on cardboard and talk about us...
Also, have you ever seen Republicans break ranks when they have an issue they care about so much? No. Never! Back in 2010, it has been the Democratic agenda to pass the Dream Act for the last 9 years. So they failed us.
3) Do some Googling about Trump and Dreamers before he ran for the President. He has pictures with bunch of Dreamers in his Trump Tower office in NYC. I believe that he will do something at the end! If the 9th circuit had not ruled at all back in March 2018, there would have been a deal. There was no deal because there was no urgency. End of story!

cool my brother 8).... or sister didn't mean to assume your gender :D

3) The deal back in 2018 fell apart because the 9th circuit ruled in our favor. There would have been a deal otherwise.

1.) Do you think Obama acted alone? Without the backing of his party, he would have been less likely to make DACA. Though he deserves a lot of credit, Obama was certainly not a one man team.

2.) 50 Democrats Yay for Dream Act
3 Republicans Yay for Dream Act

5 Democrats Nay for Dream Act
36 Republican Nay for Dream Act

Who failed you? Republicans continue to say how great we are, and how we deserve a chance. That vote count sure does not show it.

3.) A republican President and a Republican Congress would give you a good deal on DACA? All pillars in exchange for DACA: does that sound fair? It's better that no deal was made.

Both sides suck. This situation sucks.

20+million other undocumented immigrants may not agree.

I did not choose to be brought here. The others were adults when they came here illegally or overstayed; and knew the consequences. So i really do not care!

I will always be thankful to President Obama, and that is all. Democrats had the chance back in 2010 to pass the Dream Act IF THEY STUCK TOGETHER; and they failed miserably. Did you see how Republicans stick together? Yes It is the fault of the Democrats and especially Senator Dick Durbin for not being able to whip the votes to pass the Dream Act back in 2010.

@justinsink
Trump talks to reporters as he returns from Camp David, joking: "You haven't had enough?"

- Says border wall will be made out of steel instead of concrete because Dems don't like concrete
- Says would consider DACA in talks but complicated and would prefer to wait on SCOTUS

Failed miserably? 90% Democrats stuck together, 50/55 (vs 92% sticking together on the Republican side, 36/39). Both parties stick together, respectively, pretty equally. Let's see how both parties stick together this year. Chaos will reign supreme in 2019.

You're somehow against Durbin, of all people? You prefer saving yourself even if means the chances of legalization drops for 20+million other undocumented people, TPS recipients, and asylum seekers?

We'll just have to agree to disagree on those matters.

He wanted his three pillars for a one time three year extension. It's a deal so bad that if I was the deciding vote as ICE drags me onto a plane I'd vote no.

Same old same old

@TheToddSchulte
Todd Schulte Retweeted Maggie Haberman

IMPT: POTUS continues to say he wants SCOTUS to end DACA — to do his dirty work really — because he thinks that the lives of 800k Dreamers are leverage over the Democrats. This is absolutely wrong, and people should be clear what is really going on when his admin floats “DACA.”
Maggie Haberman
@maggieNYT
Back from Camp David, via pool:

"lt's going to be a steel border and that's going to give us
great strength."

He didn't directly answer a question about whether he'd
talked to Schumer or Pelosi today: "We've been in touch
with a lot of people and i informed my folks to say that
we'll build a steel barrier steel that it will be made out of
steel, that it will be less obtrusive and stronger."

On DACA: "| would consider DACA but | think it'd be
complicated. |'d rather have the Supreme Court rule and
then work with the Democrats on DACA. | want to help
with DACA... Rather than doing something with DACA now
|'d rather work with Democrats. Let the Supreme Court
rule first."

"We have a crisis at the border of drugs of human beings
being trafficked all over the world... and criminals and
gang members coming through."

On unpaid federal workers: ''They will make an adjustment
because they want to see the border taken care of."

On border problems: "Because of the strength of our
economy, the stronger it is, it's probably the greatest
economy we've ever had, and because of that it's
happening even more so we have to stop it."
