Codify DACA + AP into law - that is a great start - permanent residency will come naturally.

I can fuck with that. My boys who go laid off with me back in October, they are in no hurry to find a job since they are on unemployment, whereas my ass had to find a job to stay afloat. Hey, I’m down to pay their unemployment to reduce the competition. We already have access, Social Security Act only requires you to have a number, put 40 quarters of work in, and have employment authorization at some point in your life.

People who have been here for years who finally decide to throw the towel would file for asylum to get a work permit and therefore a SSN, then they amend their taxes with the new number for the past 10 years (thereby satisfying the 40 quarters requirement), and they fuck off and collect social security retirement via the consulate abroad.
