I agree and hope this becomes the reality if this turns for the worst. A bridge act or stop gap measure of sorts would be the best.

Problem is, I'm getting a real "meh, are we done here?" vibe from Justice Roberts.

Maybe I'm thinking too much into it, but we shall see.

In the end the right will want some nationalist agenda-pushing plan like the Goodshit Bill. Same shit, different toilet.

You still wanna go on Fox News, bend over, and support the Trump admin so you can get yours one more time? Why don't you just leave? Fool.

Basically SCOTUS rules for Trump, and then Trump leaves us alone for now until he sees a convenient window to start deporting little by little.

That would be one of the worst case scenarios and in my opinion unlikely. You have dreamers unable to work / unable to contribute. At that point, you're no different than any other illegal immigrant. The government basically increased the number of non-tax paying illegal immigrants by 700k. Policy wise, it doesn't make sense. I don't think republicans will support it.

He won't get impeached in senate ever

He doesn't worry a bit in actuality

- 5-4 decision

Its going to be a punt of some sort. Then punt again if they don't figure anything out.

Impeachment is something the house does, trial/removal is what the senate does. He can get impeached by the house but the senate will most likely not remove him.

At the end of the day it all plays in the polls for 2020. Impeachment is bad for him in 2020 election. Removing DACA is bad for him in an election year for 2020 election, just not as bad. This administration is not very predictable though so they could do something that's bad for them.

Judicial wise, this is the end of the road for DACA. SC won't punt this issue to another judicial process. They'll punt to the legislative & executive branch that's riddled with hyper-partisanship.
